By There’s overkill and there’s überoverkill. When it comes to new posters for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, we’ve achieved the latter. There were 17 character posters released last week. Yeah, 17, also known as a dumb baker’s dozen.
The reason for so many character posters? There’s one for each of the dwarves. Yup, as you can see there’s Thorin Oakenshield, Fili, Kili, Billy Zoom, Snorlax, Slavoj Žižek, Bombur, Biff Tannen, the guy who played Bull from Night Court, Ryu Hayabusa, Peter Dinklage, Hamburger Penis, Tofu Penis, and Hot Dog Gosling. (I probably got a few of those wrong.) Wonder if they’ll put out 3,000 character posters for the Battle of the Five Armies in The Hobbit: There and Back Again.
