By With this year’s Academy Awards now only two weeks away, it’s finally time to get all of those last minute viewings of this year’s nominees. Although it’s still possible to catch, say a Best Picture nominee like Argo in theaters, it’s much harder to view short films due to the Academy’s strict rules (post it online and it no longer can qualify for a nomination).
Thankfully, the five Best Animated Short film nominees are now all available in full online. We’ve featured one here on the site already (the wonderfully nostalgic Paperman), but this is the first time you can see The Longest Daycare without paying for Ice Age 4. You can view all of the films after the jump in order of my preference. Which film is your favorite? I’m in favor of a Simpsons win thanks to years and years of brand loyalty, although Fresh Guacamole comes in at a close third because of its name.
