By If you haven’t seen 22 Jump Street know it’s one of the funniest films this year. It ended in such a way, that making a sequel film would not only prove its ridiculous final jokes right but ruin the film’s good will overall. Sadly, because it made a lot of money in theaters, work has already begun on the sequel, 23 Jump Street.
Although Lord and Miller or Tatum and Hill’s returns are not in the cards yet, Sony has hired Rodney Rothman (one of the folks who worked on 22) to write the script. 22 Jump Street made many significant jokes at its own expense and to see the series renege on them would be disappointing. We’ll see what comes out of this I guess.
