83rd Academy Awards Nominations Announced

This morning, with the help of Mo’Nique, the Academy Awards announced the 2011 Oscar Nominations. After a strong year in film and months of discussion amongst critics, media and the blogosphere, we can finally put speculation to rest and start arguing over who will get awards and who will most likely get robbed.

With our First Annual Flixist Awards taking place next week, I’m pretty sure these Oscar nominations will be rendered mute considering Aronofsky won’t rest until he wins a Flixist award. Still, if you’re interested in the second most important awards ceromony in film, feel free to check the list after the break and argue over who should win Best Sound Editing or Best Make Up.
