By The Hollywood Reporter has some exciting news regarding Brick writer/director Rian Johnson’s latest, Looper. Endgame Entertainment is now teaming with Chinese company DMG to produce the time-traveling thriller in China. Also with this news comes a casting update. Chinese actress Xu Qing will be joining the cast, working with Joseph Gordon-Levit, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt.
With production being set in China, a major plot point has been adjusted. Before, the good ol’ US of A was the developer of the time travel technology. But now that’s changed; China will be the superpower developer of time travel.
But the news doesn’t stop there! /Film has an exclusive look at some of the props used in the film. Futuristic bikes, speakers, and even a scooter thingy, all look slick and say a lot about the tone of the movie. Head on over to take a look at these cool props.
