By The speculations have come true! Wes Anderson‘s next film, Moonrise Kingdom, which is set to come out in 2012, will feature Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and of course the brilliant Bill Murray. The main characters of the film – a young boy and girl who fall in love – will be played by Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward. The movie was also recently officially bought by Focus Features.
I’m totally excited for this. I’m certainly a fan of Anderson in general, but with this group of actors in the mix, I can’t wait to see what he comes up with. The movie’s supposed to be set on an island off the coast of New England in the 1960’s, but you can read the full synopsis of Moonrise Kingdom here.
