By Quite a mish-mash of releases this week. As far as new releases go, there’s the awesomely animated The Illusionist, the soul-crushingly depressing Blue Valentine, the moderately amusing No Strings Attached, and the very intriguing tale of murder and revenge, I Saw the Devil. And yes, all you tweenage readers out there, the Bieber movie comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on Friday.
Troma also has a ton of releases out this week, including Blood Junkie, Blood Oath, and Killer Yacht Party. For those of you who didn’t want to shell out the oodles of dollars for the Alien Blu-ray box-set, you can pick up your favorites individually. Lots of other horror selections out, including the oh-so-enticing Dahmer vs. Gacy.
And let’s not forget The Asylum’s The Almighty Thor. Can’t wait ’til we do an Asylum week, so I’ll actually have an excuse to sit down and watch this.
