This Fall, the 1984 version of Fritz Lang’s Sci-Fi epic Metropolis is coming to theaters across the U.S. and Canada. The original 1927 film is completely silent, though subsequent versions have been released with musical soundtracks. This 1984 version – the so-called “rock version” – features the musical stylings of Giorgio Moroder, Freddie Mercury, Pat Benatar and Bonnie Tyler among others.
I personally haven’t seen this rock version, but I’ve seen the original and it was awesome. I’m really curious about this Freddie Mercury version of the classic film! Check out below the jump for dates and cities of shows!
