It’s been a while since Cameron Crowe made a film. God, it really was 2005’s Elizabethtown. That’s an eternity! We Bought a Zoo stars Matt Damon and Scarlett “God, I’m Embarrassed Today” Johansson, and the plot is basically just the title. Matt Damon decides to buy and run a zoo after his wife’s death because reasons. There’s going to be a lot of warmed hearts after watching this one.
I wasn’t a big fan of Elizabethtown, but the fact that he made Almost Famous means that I’ll give Cameron Crowe as many second chances as he wants. There is also a poster released for the film, which you can see in the gallery. I really, really hate that the poster’s designed with the text just cutting off at the edges. It makes it look like it wasn’t proofed or something.
