By The Rep is an indie documentary about “repertory theaters”. You’ve probably heard about this kind of theater a lot — but just didn’t know it. The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, The New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles, and Film Forum in New York are all Rep theaters. Basically, a Repertory Theater plays awesome old movies – often cult classics – and creates an environment for movie fanatics to enjoy these favorite movies as an audience.
