By As a big, dumb popcorn movie, I liked G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. It had the Eiffel Tower rust and melt away and never took itself seriously at all. G.I. Joe: Retaliation, featuring few very returning cast members from the first one (just Channing Tatum, Ray Park, and Arnold Vosloo), seems to capture that spirit with a healthy dose of American co-do spirit. After all, THOSE COBRA BASTARDS TOOK OVER THE WHITE HOUSE ARE YOU GONNA LET THEM S**T ALL OVER OLD GLORY YOU TERRORIST JACKASS?
Ahem. Anyway, looking forward to seeing more of this. Any movie with The Rock is a movie I pay attention to. That man is a national treasure.
