By Last month, we brought news to you that Amanda Seyfried would be doing porn in the biopic Lovelace, about the porn actress Linda Lovelace. At the time, James Franco’s role as Lovelace’s husband/manager/financial advisor, Chuck Traynor, was rumored to be given to Peter Sarsgard due to probable time constraints.
Now, we have further developments that Franco is negotiating for a cameo role as everybody’s favorite creepy old man, Hugh Hefner. Movieline reports that the cameo will only be shot over the course of a day, meaning Franco will only get a few minutes of screen time.
I like Franco and all, but when his involvement detracts from Seyfried being naked, my interest in him wanes a little. Then again, it might be funny seeing him in the Hef’s signature old man robe.
