Magnolia Pictures has released an extended trailer for The Hunter, a trailer which is way better than the short trailer they released last summer. Willem Dafoe is a mercenary who has been paid to find the last Tasmanian Tiger for a shadowy biotech company that wants its genes. He arrives in Tasmania and impersonates a scientist to stay with a family whose father has disappeared. However, his growing attachment to them will endanger his mission. Who wants to bet that the biotech company got rid of that missing father?
Foreseeable plot twists aside, the film looks beautiful and Willem Dafoe is always a solid bet. The Hunter will be in theaters on April 6, 2012.
