Epic, from the creators of Ice Age and Rio, tells the story of a teen girl (Amanda Seyfried) that gets transported into a world of magical pixies and magic and stuff. It looks more interesting to me than Ice Age or Rio ever did, kinda like a remake of Ferngully without environmental morals (from what we can see of the trailer) and Azzi Ansari as a wacky snail instead of Robin Williams the Rapping Bat. Also, I just can’t stand the title. Epic? That could literally be about anything. You could make a tense relationship drama and call it Epic. You could make a documentary about starving babies and call it Epic.
Ok, maybe not that last one.
