By I guess I should come right out and let you guys know that these pics are pretty dull. It’s mostly just Josh Brolin and Spike Lee standing around and it’s hard to decipher the context of what’s going on. What scene is being filmed? Does Josh Brolin just like hanging around with his shirt off? Who knows. What’s important is that this film is finally happening after years of discussion. As a huge fan of the original, I can say that I feel very confident with Spike Lee as the director and the tremendous talent they have casted for the film. If they can capture just a fraction of what made Chan-wook Park’s masterpiece so memorable, I think we’ll still have a pretty good movie on our hands regardless of expectations.
