Remember G.I. Joe: Retaliation? No? It was supposed to release this past Summer, but got delayed due to the lack of 3DDDDDDDD and sexy dance man, Channing Tatum. The absence of both of those things also would have lost money for Paramount apparently. Did it cost them more money to delay the film’s release by several months, reshoot a bunch of scenes in Avatar-Vision, and waste all those marketing and toy products? That’s an argument for another time.
Today, I present you with a new G.I. Joe: Retaliation poster that seems fit to add Tatum’s face to it (which is more than I could say for its most recent trailer). Hilariously enough, Tatum still isn’t that big of a deal. Despite being the singular cause of millions of lost dollars, Tatum still is less important than Dwayne “My Face is Bigger than Yours is On This Poster” Johnson. Just look at how big Johnson is (there’s a pun in there somewhere)! The poster is saying to me, “Hey! Did you know Channing Tatum is in this too? Cause he is for realzz!” They honestly would have achieved the same thing if they just, as Hubert wonderfully suggested, photoshopped Tatum from 21 Jump Street‘s poster.
