By After years of basically being a set of abs in romantic comedies, Matthew McConaughsance remembered he was a set of abs that was damn good at acting. Next in the possible line of legit roles he’ll be taking (one that I’d argue started with the underrated Lincoln Lawyer) is the lead in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Interstellar.
Deadline is reporting that the director extended an offer for McConaughey to star in the film, and though the actor has responded yet it would be a pretty big shock if he turned him down. Who walks away from the hottest director there is? Well, McConaughey might be the kind of guy who does, but I doubt he will. It doesn’t look like he’s too busy with only an HBO mini-series shooting at the moment so he should be free right in time for shooting and the Nov. 2014 release.
