By Just a few days ago, Joss Whedon confirmed that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are in The Avengers 2. Today we have an interesting development from Bryan Singer on Twitter (your premier source for everything related to X-Men: Days of Future Past.)
Singer tweeted the following:
Before he was an #Avenger, he was just a REALLY fast kid. Thrilled to say #EvanPeters is joining #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast as #Quicksilver.
I’m pretty sure that both Fox and Marvel Studios have the rights to use Quicksilver so long as Fox avoids references to The Avengers and Marvel avoids references to the X-Men, but maybe something else is happening here. Will Evan Peters also be in The Avengers 2? Is there some super secret multi-studio Marvel crossover coming that is now in the works?
Let the wild speculation begin.
