First clip for Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac

Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac will be a long tale about sex. It centers around Joe, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac who is found by an older man beaten up in an alley and, you know, like you do in those situations, she recounts her life and sexual exploits to him. The movie will be split into chapters, and this clip teases the first one — named “The Compleat Angler.”

In the clip, we get a hint of the origins of Joe’s hypersexuality as her worldlier friend B challenges her to a competition of who can have sex with the most boys while on a train ride, with the winner getting some chocolate candy. Nymphomaniac does not yet have an American release date.
