By About a year ago I reviewed the documentary Ultimate Christian Wrestling and did an interview with directors Jae-Ho Chang and Tara Autovino. The film explored a group of people who merged independent wrestling and Christianity/worship. The result was a sympathetic and surprisingly moving portrait of people living their passions and dealing with day-to-day struggles.
The filmmakers of Ultimate Christian Wrestling recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to write/record an original score, finish the final sound mix, and arrange a screening for the subjects of the documentary. Funding incentives include DVDs and digital downloads of the film, t-shirts, posters, and cool original art by Matt Leines.
