There are a LOT of Star Wars: Episode VII rumors floating around. From script problems, to crazy actor castings, to story points and so on. We here at Flixist don’t want to clog you guys with all of that mumbo jumbo, and will only report the confirmed stuff from now on. That may seem like a weird decision now (as a lot of you probably do want to be up to date with every bit of Star Wars news), but when the next year is flooded with heaps of disorienting information from numerous sources, you’ll be glad we did (Then again, I’ll probably bend our stance if a rumor is particularly juicy or ridiculous). We’re going to tell you about the important stuff.
Namely, that J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have completed Episode VII‘s script (I wonder how many changes the script has gone through since Michael Arndt left) as the film dives deeper into pre-production. Also, that J.J. Abrams confirmed that he has at least met with Jesse Plemons (most recently known for playing Todd in Breaking Bad) for some undisclosed role:
He is one of the actors that we’ve talked to, yeah. But, you know, it’s not often that I read about actors that I’m going to be meeting. I get to read articles about actors who are going to come in. And so I get to see someone and say, ‘Oh, I read that I was going to see you. It’s very nice to see you.’ It’s usually agents talking to people about what’s happening. It’s just a lot of noise.
Not to fear though, as we get closer and closer to Star Wars: Episode VII‘s December 2015 release, we’re going to be hearing a lot more about this stuff.
