By Forrest Gump is one of my top ten movies of all time. It’s probably in the top five too. It’s just something I can watch over and over again without fault. Ghostbusters is something I’ll watch again for sure, but not nearly as much. But we’ll have the chance to see them in theaters soon enough as both films are re-releasing this September to celebrate anniversaries.
Forrest Gump is getting an IMAX release September 5th for its 20th Anniversary, and Ghostbusters is getting a remastered version Labor Day weekend (starting August 29th) for its 30th. Along with this, we’ll see Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II on Blu-ray (as special anniversary editions with new extra features) September 16th. September’s gonna be a good, good month.
