By Benedict Cumberbatch has played everything from a literary detective character, the guy with WikiLeaks, the super being Khan, a leading man in several amazing dramas, to a mocap dragon, so it’s very appropriate that Marvel is tapping him to headline their Sorcerer Supreme film, Doctor Strange.
While the deal isn’t set in stone (sometimes these things fall through), talks have gotten to the point where he’s pretty much getting the role. So now that Marvel has a director and release date, by the Hoary Hype of Hoggoth, I’m ready. Doctor Strange releases during Marvel’s Phase Three July 8th, 2016
