I hope you liked Captain America: The Winter Soldier, because if you didn’t you’re probably not going to like Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1 or 2. We learned the Russo brothers, who directed the former have taken the helm on the latter two, and now it’s been confirmed that the screenwriters for Winter Soldier, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, are joining them.
You shouldn’t be two worried, these two guys have probably had the most influence over the Marvel universe aside from Joss Whedon as anyone. The wrote Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor: The Dark World and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, along with creating Agent Carter. They’re basically the guys Marvel turns to when Whedon is busy. In fact, considering Whedon claims to be done after Ultron it makes sense these two are being ushered in as the new runners of the MCU.
