Got it? I bet your answer was “Harry Potter would’ve been way better if it had been set in something resembling an American university, with all the attendant sex, drugs and drama that go along with it.” Well, if that’s the case, you’re in luck.
Last week at New York Comic Con, SyFy unveiled the trailer for its upcoming series The Magicians, based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Lev Grossman. The series, like the book, follows Quentin Coldwater as he attends Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, and all of the college hijinks that ensue. Check out the trailer below:
The series debuts in January and stars Jason Ralph, Olivia Taylor Dudley and Stella Maeve.
