By Even though I’ve been generally down on the grim and gritty tone of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, these two Super Bowl TV spots were lots of kooky fun. It’s a little bit of levity in a dour world of adolescent power fantasies.
Partnered with Turkish Airlines–a company that immediately comes to mind when I think of people in spandex punching each other really hard in the face–these Dawn of Justice TV spots promote travel to Metropolis and Gotham City, and provide a nice feel for each city from which our two fightin’ heroes hail.
