By The Clueless Gamer bits on Conan are a lot of fun to watch. Sure, Conan O’Brien isn’t a gamer and is more of a snarky smart aleck, but his overall assessment of what he’s seeing is brutally, acerbically honest.
In case you missed it, the latest installment of Clueless Gamer featured everyone’s favorite ageless actor Elijah Wood. Conan and Elijah took on Final Fantasy XV. They didn’t really like what they saw. In fact, they kind of hated it.

Yeeouch. My favorite line was “This is a video game as written by James Joyce. It’s just madness.” Also, the beating on a worm line. Giggles.
I am pretty confident in assuming Final Fantasy XV is more than just pushing a car around and wandering the desert. There might be some fighting involved, and kissy stuff. It’s baffling that these seemingly inconsequential parts of the game were what they allowed Conan and Elijah to check out. Would you put photos of yourself crying while eating on dating apps?
“Epic blue balls waste of time” seems pretty apt given what they had to play with.
I’m sure there are some hardcore Final Fantasy fans who are outraged by this, but it’s all in good fun. They’ll probably also be angry if I were to mention that Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy IV are superior games to Final Fantasy VII, which I just did.
