Iron Sky: The Coming Race finally has an official release date in the United States through Vertical Entertainment, and I couldn’t be more excited. The trailer was bonkers in all the best ways with a surprisingly high budget. You give me Moon Nazis, you make me a happy boy.
There’s also a new poster for the movie (viewable below) which has Space Hitler riding a dinosaur, because if your movie has Space Hitler riding a dinosaur in it, then you’d better slap that image front-and-center on the poster.
It’s actually not front-and-center, which is the only thing I don’t like about the poster.
This sequel to the cult hit Iron Sky is full of ridiculous conspiracy theory-inspired satire, and I love it. In it, the world has been devastated by nuclear war, and the scant survivors are holed up in a former Nazi moonbase, but then one survivor finds out an ancient power is hidden deep within the Earth (which is hollow), but they have to fight a shapeshifting reptilian race to retrieve it. This looks like nothing if not a bunch of fun.
Iron Sky: The Coming Race will race to theaters and VOD next month on July 19, 2019.
