By The latest installment in the X-Men film franchise, Dark Phoenix is about to get the boot at least according to a tweet by Exhibitor Relations Co. It’s not surprising considering how poorly the film’s reviews and its numbers have been. What was supposed to be an amazing entry into the series came up quite flat and left many quite disappointed.
Just look at Dark Phoenix’s Rotten Tomatoes score – 23% earning it the title of the lowest rated X-Men film. It’s sad that the film did not live up to the hype of the trailers and we couldn’t get a decent film about Jean Grey’s alter ego.
According to the Tweet, Dark Phoenix will be pulled from 1,667 theaters which equal about 44%. ?Not good. So if you haven’t caught this film yet and want to now is your chance before it is totally gone for good and heads straight for digital. You can check out our review here. Hopefully, the next X-Men film isn’t a total trainwreck.
