Hey! Hey, you there! Do you like the MCU? Do you want to own every single MCU movie in one nice collection? Of course you do! Well Kevin Feige is here to help you!
Announced in an acceptance speech at the Saturn Awards, Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel was indeed working on an “Infinity Saga” box set that collected every major MCU movie from the “Infinity Saga” into one gargantuan box set. For those not keeping count, that means 23 movies will be included in this collection as well as a host of several, never before seen deleted scenes, including an alternate ending to the original Iron Man where Nick Fury confirms the existence of Mutants and Spider-Man.
While I’ve been mostly lukewarm to the recent MCU movies, neither loving or hating them, I am particularly interested in own the entire series up to this point on physical media. Regardless of what you may think about the MCU, there’s no denying that it’s going to go down in history as one of the most important film franchises of all time. The fact that Marvel was able to weave a massive universe together over the course of 11 years is now small feat. They changed the face of cinema as we know it and made superhero movies the blockbuster giants that they are today.
All that I ask for is that the “Infinity Saga” box set comes in the shape of Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet so I can constantly remind myself and others that Thanos did nothing wrong and for five glorious years, he was able to create peace in the universe. There is no set release date for the “Infinity Saga” box set.
