By I’ll admit it right here and now: I watched Absolutely Fabulous almost religiously growing up. Or to put it better my mom watched it a lot and thus it was on the TV and thus I watched it. Either way, I’m not ashamed of it as it was one of the funniest comedies those darn brits put out during the 90s. It recently had a very successful Christmas special with both co-creator Jennifer Saunders and co-star Joanna Lumley returning and thanks to that special’s popularity Saunders has announced she plans to make an Ab Fab movie.
Now this does just seem to be Saunders talking, but she has the clout with the show’s ongoing popularity and she already knows she wants to shoot in the Riveria… during Spring. I wish I had a job where going on vacation and drinking a lot in the south of France was acceptable.
