By The brilliant thing about having Spotify on my phone is that I can say, “Oh, right! That band! I should listen to them!” I did that with an entirely different band today, and in that band’s related artists appeared Third Eye Blind. You remember them, of course. They did some hit songs of varying quality.
I went back and listened to their self-titled debut, and it’s actually quite a remarkable album. Their drummer is serious business, and there are some real gems, like the song embedded above. The fan-made video is the worst kind of cheesy, but the song is brilliant.
