There are a lot of companies out there that surprise me in that I find myself unable to come up with any rational explanation for why they’re still in business. Maybe it’s the kind of company where you go into the store and see employees lounging in the patio furniture section, yet it doesn’t really register in your mind because you’re too busy wondering just what in the hell that terrible stench is. With others, you might just see a once-great name hanging on for dear life and refusing to let go. Yep, I’m definitely talking about one of the stories that went up today.Â
This actually reminds me of a fun business term I learned a few years ago but never had a great reason to use: zombie company. It’s a real term, too. Not sure if the ol’ B-buster qualifies, but if you’ve been to your local store recently, you’ll understand why I think it should.Â
In any event, read up on what went down on November 22nd, 2010. Boy, look at the date. Turkey is coming. Will you be home when it comes over to play?Â
