ABC has announced that the final season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will premiere on May 27, 2020. The news came from the official Twitter account for the show, giving us a quick clip to properly set the stage. Fans of Agent Carter will likely be a little cheesed off as one character seems to be returning…to ultimately get canceled again.

As we move into a new era of the MCU with full control going to Kevin Feige, it seems television ventures like this, Agent Carter, and even Runaways will become a thing of the past. With Disney+ being the home for everything Disney related, why stick with traditional networks that broadcast shows for “free?” Just put everything on your subscription service and let the money roll in.
