Shia LaBeouf’s creative endeavors outside of acting have been pretty strange. There was a public art show rife with self-loathing and even a sexual assault, a short film that borrowed heavily from Daniel Clowes, and a video full of monologues done in collaboration with London art students (one of which is like the Rollins Band song “Do It”).
Now Shia LaBeouf is taking his art and narcissism and commentary on his own narcissism to the next level. The actor is currently at the Angelika Film Center in New York watching all of his movies in reverse chronological order, 24 hours a day for the next three days. People are allowed to participate and watch LaBeouf films at the Angelika. Admission is free.
Here is the schedule:
For those who would like the perplexed experience of watching Shia LaBeouf watching Shia LaBeouf, there is a livestream of #AllMyMovies. You can watch it here.
Not going to lie: I may go watch Holes for free.
But yeah–is it art?
