Back when the original Anchorman came out Paul Rudd wasn’t a household name and Steve Carell was still that guy from The Daily Show, but now the cast is basically a line up of comedy legends. It did make one worry that the charm would be gone from Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, but as this new trailer shows Ron Burgundy still has it.
The conversation over the confusion between a gay man and vampires is particularly on point and it looks like we’re in for a sequel that actually deserves to be made. My only concern is the re-use of some jokes, though at least they have a new spin like with the condoms. Fingers crossed the entire film stays this funny.
