Yes indeedy! Tonight, we record the first Flixist Movie Club of 2012, and our topic of discussion is the Drew Goddard-directed, Joss Whedon/Drew Goddard-written classic in our time, The Cabin in the Woods. Obviously, there will be ALL KINDS OF SPOILERS UP IN THIS JUNK, so consider this a pre-emptive warning to stay away from both the comments here and the show itself, if you haven’t seen Cabin in the Woods yet.
We record the show in a few hours, so let’s get those questions in! As a courtesy to those among us that have not seen the movie yet, I ask that if you have a question that, IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, could spoil something, please send it to us via email at [email protected]. Our comments do show up on the sidebar of the front page, remember, so it’s hard to hide those from common view. Think of how pissed you’d be if someone had spoiled the movie before you saw it. That’s right. You’d feel like flipping a b***h. Basically, if you ask something publicly that’s spoiler-y, I’ll delete your comment, sex up both of your parents (living or dead), then stage an elaborate hoax that names you personally responsible for the Holocaust, the war in Vietnam, and the release of Jack and Jill.
