By I’ve already made my Lego fascination known, so imagine how I felt when I saw these Lego interpretations of the Best Picture nominees (which are in the gallery below). While a few of them are aren’t all that cool (the one for Toy Story 3 feels uninspired), it’s a fun concept. The Lego artist behind these, Alex Eylar, is familiar with the fine art of everybody’s favorite toy bricks, having created plenty of Lego vignettes.
For those who don’t remember, the Best Picture nominations are 127 Hours, Black Swan, Inception, The Fighter, The Kids are All Right, The King’s Speech, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit, and Winter’s Bone.
