By Yesterday, Xander brought you the news that Harrison Ford was in talks to be in the Blade Runner sequel. As appealing as that is to some folks, I’m going to have to break your hearts: Harrison Ford is not in talks to be in this movie. Sorry gang.
Producer Andrew Kosove was quick to dispel the rumor, saying that they’re currently working with Ridley Scott on the story of the movie, and that casting is the furthest thing from their minds right now. Seems fair enough. But let’s be honest with each other here; how many of you folks out there are really wanting a sequel to Blade Runner? Isn’t the movie good enough on its own? Even though I’m not a big fan of the movie, I’d hate to see a sequel. Especially this far after the release of the original.
