By It’s no surprise that the final Twilight film topped the box office with a resounding $141m this past weekend. I mean, that’s what’s come to be expected from such a high profile franchise entry, right? Hopefully this marks a shift in focus for Kristen Stewart towards scripts where she’s actually allowed to show just how dynamic her acting ability is. There’s honestly no sarcasm in that last sentence.
However, what’s more impressive (and surprising) is the Bollywood film Jab Tak Hal Jaan making $1.25m in 161 theaters, making an average of $7,763 at each location. That’s a way more impressive number, especially considering the assumed lack of vampire/wolf sex.
