Natalie Portman’s other movie did pretty well this week, coming in first and making just over twenty mil over the weekend. Not bad overall, but especially not bad for Portman, who has a lock on the number one and number five spots this week. Do you think she’s making money? I think she’s making money.
Otherwise, the story this week is pretty predictable. Older movies continue to make money inversely proportional to how many weeks they’ve been out. It would have been fun to see something crazy like Country Strong to come out and land the second spot and make like eighteen mil in one weekend. Ha. And my streak of making fun of that film continues.
