Another week gone, another week of box office numbers. Unsurprisingly, the Melissa McCarthy movie Spy (which apparently isn’t as bad as her recent string of bad choices) took the top spot with $30 million, San Andreas is still making money with $26 million, and the latest chapter in the Insidious series rounds out the top three with $23 million.
More importantly, Mad Max: Fury Road is still riding shiny and chrome into Valhalla as it crossed $300 million worldwide this weekend. Proving that folks definitely want good films instead of more bullhooey.
Hit the jump for the box office performances for the first weekend of June.
