Anthony Hopkins continued to be creepy in movies this week, helping to push The Rite up to the top spot in the weekend box office. This means that people either still feel the need to watch Anthony Hopkins do the creepy crazy guy thing or that something like a million people have never seen a movie before.
I do have to mention that The Dilemma has already fallen down to seventh place and has taken in a total of about 40 million. That’s not so good, but probably better than the film deserves. No Strings Attached is performing quite a bit better, which actually surprises me a bit. I won’t be shocked if The Dilemma rebounds a bit next weekend when the older crowd finally gets around to seeing it. No promises, though.
