Although the final product turned out to be less than stellar (even putting a man to sleep), Ridley Scott’s latest “epic,” Exodus: Gods and Kings won over a quiet pre-holiday weekend with $24 million. Mockingjay- Part 1 came in second with $13 million, and The Penguins rounds out the top three with $7 million.
Too bad those misguided folks all forgotten The Prince of Egypt is streaming on Netflix. It’s way better. Hit the jump for the box office performances for the December 12-15 weekend.
