It just occurred to me that last week’s special Nick Valdez-flavored Box Office Numbers lacked any actual box office numbers. Thanks, Nick; I still love you.
This weekend, Tom Cruise did Tom Cruise things to help Oblivion blow the competition to oblivion with its $38m box office take. Falling into second was last week’s top film, 42, with $18m. Rounding out the Top Three is The Croods. Do you get it? They’re cavemen called the “Croods,” which is a homonym for “crudes.” What a great pun, DreamWorks!
