Knock knock, America was shell shocked. In a semi-surprise, the TMNT movie managed to take the top spot over Guardians of the Galaxy’s second week (getting both $65 million smackaroos and a sequel). It’d be interesting to see how long this holds, but looks like I underestimated the power of the turtle fandom. More importantly, how the hell did Into the Storm make any money?
Figure that out, scientists. Hit the jump for the full list of box office performances for the August 8-10 weekend.
