By I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but we here at Flixist are absolutely in love with Attack the Block. I myself haven’t been able to check it out (remedying that this week), but its a rare occurance that our entire staff is in love with a film like we all seem to be with this one. Sadly, its a limited release. But don’t despair, you can make part of that limited release be your city.
Over on the film’s Facebook page is the chance to vote for the movie to come to one of 10 cities in the United States on August 19. Right now Phoenix, AZ is in the lead, but I’m guessing if you get enough people together you could sway that outcome. I voted for Detroit since I figured they could use some more awesome. Head over there now and pick out your city.
