In a short but sweet Tweet, Netflix has announced the return of Adi Shankar and company’s Castlevania series, now set for its third season to premiere on March 5, 2020. That’s just over a month away!
The Tweet was accompanied by a snazzy new poster for the series, so take a look in the gallery below.
Netflix’s Castlevania premiered four episodes in the summer of 2017, surprising many with its solid adaptation of the beloved Konami franchise. A second season of eight episodes followed in the fall of 2018.
Season three of Castlevania will feature ten episodes, with writer Warren Ellis reconfirming his own involvement via Twitter.

In other news, producer Adi Shankar also has an animated Devil May Cry series in the works at Netflix, adapting Capcom’s iconic action franchise. News on that series (and how it… connects to Konami’s vampire hunting?) will likely reveal itself after we get the third season of Castlevania.
