By Boyhood is supposed to be really good. Really, really good. I haven’t seen it myself but the film’s critical reception has been overwhelmingly positive. I have to give Linklater props for filming the movie in such a unique way, filming over 12 years to allow the actors to genuinely age, develop and grow over time is a super fresh approach to filmmaking.
