Who doesn’t love product placement? Oh wait, not that kind of product placement! I meant fake products within the realm of movies.
Based in Los Angeles, Gallery 1988 is opening their newest show, Product Placement, on March 9 through March 30. The gallery will feature works that are based on different products from movies and TV. Some are subtle; others are fairly pop culture icons. We have Neo Tokyo Customs from Akira, Shark Repellent from Batman, P-5000 Work Loader from Aliens; the list goes on and on.
Artwork that wasn’t sold out on Saturday, March 9 is up for sale on the gallery’s website.
